What’s Harajuku? Have you ever heard about it?
OK.Here we are again with some fashion new trends: The definition of Harajuku in japanese (原宿) refers to an area around Harajuku train station. Harajuku style is a japanese fashion adopted by the teenagers and young adults in the area and its side streets which have many boutiques, trendy stores and used clothes shops.
Harajuku Style has been used to describe teens dressed in many fashion styles ranging from Gothic Lolita (also gothic loli) Visual Kei, inspired by japanese rock group , Ganguro, Gyaru, to “cute” Kawaii style clothing.
Harajuku fashion has inspired designers and fashion houses like T. Kunitomo, Pas de Calais and others recently set up shop in London and New York. Harajuku is in a continually changing. Although embraced and marketed by big designers, the style isn’t defined by specific brand.
